Memberships

Fresno business, industry, agriculture and the professions are fully represented as members of The Downtown Club. A nine-member governing Board of Directors is elected from the membership-at-large.

Applications require a sponsor and a second from among current members in good standing. Prospective members' names are posted for a period of three weeks. Final approval comes from the Board of Directors.

Executive Member - An individual age 40 and over who holds his or her membership independently of business affiliation.


Business Member - Help in the name of the business, initiation fees and dues are based upon the number of people included in the membership.

Guests may be invited to the Club by any member in good standing. If the member is not to be present during the guest's visit, the member is required to call and make a reservation. Members may also request a spouse's card to allow full access to the Club facilities.

Hours

The Club is open to all members and their guests for lunch from 11:30 am to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except major holidays. Special arrangements can be made for use of private rooms at other hours. The reading room and bar are open until 7:00 p.m. Special Events are planned throughout the year for members and guest.
